Not hard\u2026 but enough.<br>Enough to make her stumble. Enough to make them laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She bent down, trying to pick up her things quickly, hoping no one would notice the tears already forming in her eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But they did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They always did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that\u2019s when the classroom door suddenly slammed open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sound cut through the laughter like a knife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone turned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A boy stepped in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Confident. Calm. No confusion.
