The Silent Princess

For years, the royal palace was filled with whispers… but never with her voice.

The king’s only daughter—the princess—had not spoken a single word since the day her mother died.
Not a cry. Not a whisper. Not even a sound.

The greatest healers, scholars, and mystics were summoned from across distant lands.
They examined her, prayed over her, tried every remedy known to man… and all failed.

As time passed, hope began to fade.

The once joyful halls of the palace turned cold and heavy, filled only with quiet pity and unanswered questions.

Desperate, the king made a final decision.

One night, beneath the golden glow of towering chandeliers, he gathered the entire kingdom in the grand throne hall.

Nobles, generals, scholars… all stood in silence as the king rose to his feet.

“My daughter hasn’t spoken… for years,” he said, his voice trembling but strong.
“Anyone who can bring back her voice… will be rewarded beyond imagination.”

A murmur spread through the hall.

Many stepped forward in the following days.
Some claimed miracles. Others promised cures.

None succeeded.

Until… one evening, everything changed.

The massive palace doors opened with a deep echo.

A boy stepped inside.

He was dressed in worn, torn clothes. His shoes were barely holding together.
Yet his eyes held something none of the others had—certainty.

The guards moved to stop him… but hesitated.

“I can help her,” the boy said calmly.

A wave of laughter swept through the hall.

The king’s expression hardened.

“Who are you?” he asked.

But the boy didn’t answer.

Instead, he slowly walked toward the princess.

The entire room fell into a tense, suffocating silence.

He stopped just a step away from her.

He didn’t touch her.
He didn’t raise his voice.

He simply leaned closer… and whispered something only she could hear.

For a moment…

nothing happened.

The nobles exchanged glances. Some smirked. Others shook their heads.

The king’s patience was fading.

But then—

The princess’s fingers trembled.

Her breathing changed.

And slowly… her lips began to move.

A faint sound escaped.

Then another.

The entire hall froze.

After years of silence… the princess was speaking.

The king dropped to his knees, overwhelmed, tears filling his eyes.

“Speak, my child… please…” he whispered.

The princess looked ahead… her voice fragile, unfamiliar, yet real.

And in that moment, the kingdom witnessed a miracle.

But when the king turned to thank the boy—

he was gone.

No one saw him leave.
No one knew where he came from.

It was as if he had never been there at all.
